Asexuality is a sexual orientation defined by a persistent lack of sexual attraction towards others. Asexuality is perfectly healthy and common! Unlike celibacy, asexuality is not a choice. This identity is not due to a disorder, hormone imbalance, or a fear of sex. Some asexual folks do enjoy and choose to engage in masturbation, relationships and/or sex.
